RxRelate, PLC is a new concept designed to assist individuals' personal growth through social connection. Research has shown that social connectedness is a primary factor in resiliency--a person's ability to deal with stress. The bumps on the road, the normal and the extraordinary ups and downs of life are easier to navigate when you can count on the support of others who accept and care about you. Think of it this way: A tree in the forest is less likely blown over than a lone tree on the prairie.

RxRelate, PLC was started by a group of therapists who recognize the importance of relationships. For many individuals, for varying reasons, it is difficult to enter situations which offer opportunities for meeting someone special. Many are naturally shy or introverted, while others are held back by the memory of previous painful interactions.

RxRelate, PLC professionals have observed that the presenting problems of many individuals beginning psychotherapy are associated with, or aggravated by, a pervasive sense of isolation and loneliness.

The dating and impression management courses offered by RxRelate, PLC are not therapy. Rather, they are instructional, combining a lecture format with experiential learning. Our philosophy is strength based, with a focus on what is right with people. We believe all persons have within them a unique set of strengths, which, when uncovered and tapped, can provide the basis for long-term constructive change.

It is the aim of all our programs to help individuals enter social arenas with true confidence, rooted in understanding of self, others and the specifics unique to each situation.
